He has a really interesting job and he really made me think. .. about how I could deal with smaller but still significant conflicts in my life. Kel Kelly was a really great speaker, and he has got me interested in considering a mediator for a future occupation. I personally enjoy helping people, and when he was describing his job, it spoke to me a little bit. I don't think I could have chosen a better guest than Kel Kelly. |

I was inspired to get out and explore the world, and that there is more out there than just Courtenay and Comox. I have always wanted to travel to different places, but I never really put it to thought

He told the class about his life and all the things he had to go through. It put a sense of understanding in me. When he told us that most people that feel neglected, alienated, confused, left out, or abused in some sort of way often like to help, I understood it instantly.

I liked the way kel kelly explained how there were usually underlying issues when dealing with conflict. Every time i see a conflict now i will look at it and try to see the ulterior motive.
