In our district,
accountability for student achievement is clearly connected
to positive, supportive, relationship-based school communities.
Mike has served as a resource to schools and districts
in Canada and internationally, focusing on leadership,
accountability, ethics and professional learning communities.

Mike McKay
is Superintendent of Schools in Surrey, British Columbia.
During his 24 years in education, he has worked at the
elementary and secondary school levels, as well as at
the Ministry of Education as Director of Educational
Innovation.

participants with the question: "When will what we know
