Product/Services I offer:

Topics can be shaped to your group’s needs. Sally is particularly interested in helping individuals and organizations recognize their wholeness and potential. Her presentations and workshops on naming our gifts has helped revitalize ideas around what people and groups can do.

Her vast experience in organization and institutions, both at a local, national and international level gives her many examples to draw upon in her talks.

What stands out about me:

Her wide range of experience, sense of humour, insights into the human experience and deep interest in healing, helping organizations and individuals bring wholeness to their experience.

My education/training :

Sally's intellectual initiation was in the field of political science. Her interest in cultural and geographical exploration, and studies in cooperative learning (with David and Roger Johnson), led her to ESL positions in the Vancouver School District, as well as overseas ( Thailand, China, Philippines and Marshall Islands).

What people say about me :

Sally Ringdahl has lived a large life in small spaces. She traveled in a VW van through Europe and North Africa for one year, lived in a 37 foot sailboat for five years, spent a year in a Vietnamese refugee camp and another in a children's hospital in China. Her experiences assured her of the innate goodness and responsibility of the community and the rich variety of ways that human needs are met. In this way, she developed "eyes that can see and ears that can hear".

My experience :

After reading "The Mists of Avalon", she wanted the job of priestess, but decided instead to become a Naturopathic Physician. One long year of pre-med at the University of Guelph preceded four delightful years at Bastyr University in Seattle. As the oldest class member, she proudly graduated as valedictorian.

Dr. Ringdahl practiced for one year in Santa Fe, NM, and five years in Victoria, BC, before being invited to be Dean of Bastyr's Naturopathic Medicine faculty. This has provided an opportunity to combine her education administration background with her interest in natural healing. She returned to Vancouver for a year and then was asked to return to Bastyr to serve as vice president of the university.
